Sromowce - Red Monastery

We pass the center of Niedzica and go around the lower reservoir. In Sromowce we head to Niżne and drive along the Polish bank of the Dunajec River. We pass the starting point of the rafting trip and reach Sromowce Niżne. After the footbridge on the Dunajec River we cross the border and next to the Red Monastery we enter the path along the rafting route. At the place where the Slovaks end their rafting we turn right to Lesnica. Here we have to overcome the only hill on the route up Tokarne. Then a fast descent at the end of which we turn right to Velke Lipnik. On this road we return near the Red Monastery. For variety, we pass a footbridge over the river and follow the Slovakian side towards Lysá nad Dunajcem where we cross the border. Again we bypass the lower reservoir and turn....To Nidzica. We are at home.
