Częstochowa - Kostkowice Reservoir - Porajskie Lake
We start the route on Aleje NMP, from where we take Mirowska Street, Faraday Street, Legionów Street and head towards Olsztyn (through Srocko and Kuśięta). In Olsztyn we can visit the ruins of the castle and continue on the route to Przymiłowice heading towards Zloty Potok (we take the main road through Skowronow, Sandek and Janow). In the market square in Zloty Potok we turn left to Gorzkow Nowy and along the road, through Postaszowice we head towards Niegowa (before Niegowa we face a rather steep climb). In Niegowa, at the crossroads, we turn left and soon right to Ogorzelnik and all the way along the asphalt we reach Bobolice and further to Mirow (in both towns we have the pleasure of admiring the ruins of castles (in Bobolice a rebuilt - or rather, built...owany newly;)). From Mirow we ride up to Kotowice, where we turn left and after about 4 km turn from the main road to the left towards the recreation area at Kostokowice lagoons(the place to turn is marked with a signpost). The condition of the asphalt on the road to the lagoon leaves much to be desired, but we managed to ride a road bike. At the lagoon you can have a bite to eat and continue on towards Kostkowice (at the fork to the right). We reach Kroczyce, where we turn right and ride again through Podlesice towards Kotowice (for variety, you can (as on the map) turn left after the railroad crossing and along the tracks to the viaduct near Gora Włodowska, after passing it there is a significant uphill stretch before Kotowice). In Kotowice we take the route to Zarki, through Jaworznik. In Zarki we pass through the market square and continue along Koziegłowska Street. At the intersection with Slowackiego street I suggest turning right, thanks to which we will pass, through the nice village of Zarki Letnisko, from there we get to the main route 791, where we turn right and on the bike path we can go through Maslonskie almost to Poraj itself. In Poraj you can stop at the lake or continue through Osiny in the direction of Czestochowa. After Kolonia Borek we turn off the main route to the right, in the direction of Zawodzie. At the fork we turn left and continue through Nowa Wieś and Korwinów. Behind Korwinów we go along the main road in a curve to the left, where behind the factory we turn right into a street that will lead us to the two-lane Wojska Polskiego Avenue (due to heavy traffic, I suggest getting across the pedestrian crossing to the other side and continue along the sidewalk for a while until we reach Bohaterów Katynia Street. Head all the way along this street until we meet WP Avenue again, where we turn left to Niepodległości Avenue (as on the map). On this one, we head straight ahead all the time, over the viaduct, until we reach the Mickiewicz Roundabout, where we turn left and, through the parking lot of the Lidl store, we reach M. Sklodwska-Curie Street. Further to the right through Korczaka and Nowowiejskiego (on the bike path) we get back to Aleja NMP. The route is rather touristy, but due to its length quite exhausting (there are also a few larger climbs, although long rather than steep;). At a moderate pace, definitely passable by anyone, although you should certainly reserve a lot of time.
