The route is not technically difficult (practically the whole way can be traversed on asphalt), but it does require some fitness - the incline is quite steep on the whole climb from Wilkowice. PiThe beautiful views at the top make up for the effort of the ascent. The descent towards Wilkowice on the asphalt is hellishly fast and you have to watch out for the occasional cars of residents moving along this road. Overall, I highly recommend it.
przemyslaw-kusior • 15.10.2013I've approached it a few times but finally made it today
arczi • 08.09.2013my favorite:)
yasioo • 11.07.2012I didn't believe it when a colleague talked about a few kilometers away. He walked in on my ambition, and it did not let go. It is possible to do it in one go without spitting out your lungs. As she did notI prefer to return by the same route direction only to Przegibek and BB.
suedat • 21.08.2011Nice route. The uphill from Wilkowice quite demanding. I recommend not to get to the very top, but earlier bounce in the direction of the Rogacz shelter. There is a nice clearing thereFrom which there is a sensational view of Bielsko-Biała. From the clearing you can descend to Straconka or spend about 20 minutes to get to the top of Magurka.
macio • 24.07.2011I was entering Magurka from the direction of Łodygowice. that day I was not in shape and I thought that this climb had no end!!! But the descent to Straconka on the red trail is fun, chough the hands hurt from the stones.
mou15 • 26.09.2010A lot of riding on asphalt. You can also do a very similar route on forest paths
ramdoss • 05.04.2010Super route. I drove it once in the winter, I tell you: a marvel. You can return through the Przegibek pass, but the road there is a bit rocky and quite difficult.
codecalm • 20.12.2009Quite a tough climb albeit worth it. After the descent your hands hurt from gripping the brake handles ;-)
beard • 30.11.2009The drive up Magurka is not an easy one, the slope is considerable, but it is possible to go all the way up. Trees provide shade, but it gives nothing when the temperature in the shade is33 C ( and in such weather I was given to leave ) Downhill quite dangerous, if someone has off-road tires, I suggest hitting the trail on the other Magurka
vanhelsing • 21.11.2009It is worth descending or ascending Magurka also from Straconka, although it is sometimes not easy there.
