Poronin - Cyrhla - Murzasichle

This is a heavily training route. Not very long distance, but specific climbs rather eliminate it from the route for a "Sunday" cyclist. The route is completely asphalt, leading practically all the time on roads with little traffic. Here we have a few strong climbs, great views of the Tatra Mountains and the opportunity to taste specialties - cheese. We start on Zakopianka (I assume this is the best common point for visitors). We take the Road to Olcza up the hill (looking in the direction of Cracow, the exit to this road is about 50m after the McDonald's on Zakopianka just at the exit from Zakopane). We're sliding steadily upwards - not much of an incline, so we can slowly wind our way up. After the first climb, we have a few dozen...meters of flattening and at the intersection by the church (the road named Piszczory) we turn left - and here immediately strongly uphill. Rather hard to miss - it's just supposed to be an asphalt road that will give us a hard time :) We give it to the very top - until we reach a T-shaped intersection. On it we turn right (beware of the shepherd's hut beforehand - we were chased here by 4 sizable shepherd dogs - but without getting into any arguments with them there are no problems - they do not bite - I had a child on the seat in the back, but somehow it went without problems...). Now we have a slight downhill, finish it with a 90-degree turn to the left, a few dozen meters on the flat and right uphill at the next intersection. And again a driveway - and again it will give us a blast :) With this uphill road we will reach Cyrhla itself. Here a moment to stop for photos or a rest and continue along the Oswald Baltzer road in the direction of Morskie Oko. However, we go only to Brzeziny and here turn left to Murzasichle. At this point we begin a long and fast descent. Without going into descriptions - we go all the way down the main road until the intersection with road No. 961 (the road leading from Zakopianka to Bukowina Tatrzanska). This is a road with a lot of traffic, so concentration and rather right edge of the road.... on this road we continue downhill all the way to Zakopianka, where we end the trip. If we had not enough - you can repeat the loop :)

    Feedback

  • Hmm 961 is necessary, and Zakopianka is practically not driven :)
