30.09.2013Siklawa, Wielka Siklawa - waterfall in the High Tatras on the Roztoka stream. The largest waterfall in Poland. The waterfall falls from the threshold of the pond wall separating the valleys: PiThe junction of the Polish Ponds and Roztoka with two or three streams (depending on the height of the water level in the Great Pond). The slope of the wall is about 35°, the height of the threshold about 64-70 m. It is the largest (although not the highest) waterfall in the Tatra Mountains. (Source: Wikipedia) So much for dry facts, while as for my subjective assessment of this place, I think it is magical. You can marvel at the beauty of nature amidst the soothing noise. It's hard to take your eyes and lens off the mesmerizing falling water.
