Very interesting and pleasant route. Beautiful views and the opportunity to cool off in the sea :).
Luke Stanley • 21.06.2018Something to watch out for on this route is that the entire route on the peninsula is made of beveled pavement, which causes quite a bit of vibration, and as I rode in zeLast year it was in Gdynia that my wrists started to go out. The route is easy, but the 35km from Hel to Wladek gets tedious at times, forest - countryside - forest - countryside and you have to watch out for tourists who do not pay attention to cyclists. Next time I plan to ride along the 216 road.
~green.ailand • 24.05.2017I am planning to drive next week ie 30-31 .07 with my family. On the way I would like to spend the night somewhere in a tent. where do you recommend? Maybe someone also feels like eatinghay with us? greetings
vvvlukaszvvv • 21.07.2016Very cool and pleasant, express through the Tri-City, then a little combination, from Wladyslawowo the path well marked, from Jurata a fairy tale!!! I highly recommend!PrzytargaI broke my bike from Silesia to ride there myself:-)
Broni Cikacz • 02.07.2016Just last Thursday I drove from Gdansk to Hel and back. Side roads, among others through the Beka reserve,Osłonino,Rzucewo,Błądzikowo (name not accidental),Puck,Swarzewo and further it is known. A total of 208km, but it was worth it. Only the heat took a little strength, but what the hell, we got there somehow. The only serious hill was the one from Reda to Rekowo - if you're on the 216 road, unfortunately you have to trudge those 2km, but overall it was great.
adamek255 • 16.08.2015Is the route Hel -> Wladyslawowo suitable for a non-mountain bike, but for such an urban Dutch type bike? I rode there a nice couple of years ago and in part there was a bike path there.wa smooth.
~mg • 27.04.2015I plan to take this route Gdansk-Hel - I have a question is it well marked? I'm not from the Coast and I wouldn't want to get lost :)
Agnieszka Jaszczak • 24.08.2014can anyone tell me where to find a map of the bike route from Gdansk to Hel
~magruman • 16.06.2014There is almost no uphill, either from Hel to Gd or vice versa. Easier I don't know which way, but it is certainly more pleasant and resourceful to take the streetcar firstBy water from Gd to Hel and then back to Gd to pedal, because if you want to return the same day you may not be able to catch the ship to Gd.
spyke • 25.08.2013Can anyone tell which route is easier to take, Gdansk-Hel or Hel-Gdansk? Is there a lot of pedaling uphill?
~puziols • 21.07.2013It is worth checking the wind direction before the trip. I had no choice, but riding along Hel against the wind is not a pleasure. recommend slightly modify the route and gotrough Puck, Rzucewo and Mosty (although in some places there is a route on the slabs), interesting views will show up :)
Mirek Pawlowski • 15.07.2013route very interesting worth the kilometers
iglikus • 21.07.2012My favorite route :-)
nosferatu • 13.05.2011This time as an option for another route Gdynia-Wladyslawowo, I highly recommend especially the area before Puck
maciej-grabowski • 08.05.2011Interesting route. I'm waiting when there will be a route for bicycles along the entire stretch.
kiklop • 20.03.2011I ride this route every year. This year it became part of the "Along the Polish Baltic Coast" bicycle expedition.
