Zeranski Canal over Zegrze

Exit from Labiszynska Street from under the Pool. You can leave your car there on the piled parking lot. We cross Trasa Toruńska, turn left into Kopijników Street and immediately right into Białołęka Street, which takes us all the way to the Canal (about 4 km). This stage is highway. There can be a lot of traffic, especially on Sundays during the car market. But it is possible to follow the sidewalk. Then, at the intersection with Ciesielniki Street, Bialolecka bounces right downhill. We see the Zeran Canal on the left along which we continue along the asphalt/concrete Bialolecka street until we reach the bus terminal and the construction base. We go around the base on the right side. The beaten road begins. We drive on it until the intersection with Kobiałk Street....i. There we cross the bridge and turn sharply to the right and down to the Canal. The path takes us along the Canal this time on the left side of the Canal all the way to Nieporęt. When the snow bank ends we turn left and immediately right into Jana Kazimierza under the railroad viaduct. Then straight to the traffic circle and right into Zegrzyńska Street. After crossing the Canal we turn left at the gas station into Wojska Polskiego Street. After 500m on the bicycle path, we arrive at the Pilawa port stop on the left. The return is not marked on the map, but followed exactly the same route. The length of the entire route according to the meter was 41.7km.

Excellent route, idyllic atmosphere, beautiful views and at the end big water at Zegrzynski Lagoon. I live in Bielany and have so far chosen routes like Kampinos, Młocińsk foresti/Bielanski, Vistula shore etc. This route is a wonderful discovery for me, I ride every free day. Well, and the distance is also reasonable: 60km from home to the water and back. Truly a revelation!

The route is ideal for a graver or mountain bike, the road may have mild problems because about 1/4 of the route is gravel. I definitely do not recommend starting the route from Bialolev Street.ęcka. Traffic sometimes can be heavy and there is no bike path, and what a ride along the roadway ???? I recommend that you take a descent from Marywilska street. driving from the center before the bridge over the Zeranski canal, turn right into the forest (there will be logging) and head all the way along the canal to Zegrze. The route at the beginning a little forest / gravel then a new bike path

Honestly, I don't know how the difficulty of the route could be set at 1.45/5, well, unless it was added from 10 years ago. The route currently has a difficulty of at least 2.5/5, and at certain points it gets 4/5, because there are some works being done there and there are large layers of sand, which makes it extremely difficult to pass, especially if you are riding a road bike :) - The works on the left bank side of the canal start from about Struzhanska (632) and are all the way to about Izabelinska. As someone riding an MTB bike will do this route with a finger in the nose and won't even notice the difficulties, but if you are riding a city bike or a road bike, you will sometimes say "something" under your breath :P Somehow, after the Izabelińska overpass, you can enter Jana Kazimierza and ride on the right side of the sidewalk - it's not big and you can't go fast, but it's easy to pass other cyclists coming from the opposite direction; at least it's safe.

"My" route, I often go there, because among the greenery, directly on the water. Sometimes, on weekends it can be crowded.

  • Please drive along the canal at the level of Nieporęt very carefully and even slow . The maximum speed is 15 km/h. This is a walking tract , there are a lot of walkers with childrene brothers and dogs .

Hi, I have a request if anyone is already driving on this path should pay attention to pedestrians walking with children and animals. I remind you that this is a "Pedestrian and bicycle path"Marked (partly stolen, unfortunately) with symbols C-16/C-13 . It is appropriate to respect this sign, because we are not at home in Warsaw, but in another city, as if to say(Legionowo).

The exit from Warsaw was poor, mostly on sidewalk made of slabs, sometimes lightly covered with sand. Then a short stretch on a wide, compacted dirt road with a lot ofA sliver of ruts and potholes. After that, it's just a very long stretch of narrow path, which is fine.

The route is nice when you maintain a speed between 25 and 30 km/h. At speeds lower than that, you can get bored to death. I recommend driving the route in the early hoursIn the morning, until 9 o'clock, because after that there are hundreds of cyclists traversing the route at a leisurely pace and overtaking on this route is sometimes difficult. However, I recommend extending the route all the way to Serock, as we will encounter more technical terrain there.
