Kacwin-Osturnia-Lapszanka-Lapsze-Kacwin

From Kacwin on the asphalt road we set off towards the border crossing with Slovakia. The route is very picturesque on the horizon you can see the main ridge of the Belianske Tatras. Near the border a charming waterfall on the Kacwinianka stream. We reach a crossroads from where we can go to the right to Osturnia, and to the left through Veľká Franková to Malá Franková - we choose this option. From Mala Frankova we return along the same road to the crossroads and go towards Osturnia. From Osturnia on a narrow asphalt path we go to Łapszanka, where it is necessary to make a stop at the viewing terrace in order to have the power to admire the panorama of the Tatra Mountains. After pleasing our eyes and soul with the beautiful view, we move on towards Łapsz Wyżne where we keep going downhill. Nas...Next we leave in Łapsze Wyżne where we turn right at the church and head through the village along the district road to Łapsze Niżne, then we pass Niedzica and continue towards Kacwin, where we end our beautifully scenic ?Pętla?

  Difficulty routes

  The route is not at all easy, the sum of ascents more than 700 m, then really only downhill for 12 km, in late September lightning cold - before the descent, dress well, but widocks beautiful. Well worth the effort. Recommended.

  Super route, beautiful views of the Tatra Mountains especially on Łapszanka .Section Kacwin -Osturnia -Łapszanka very little traffic on the road, not only car traffic, very rarely encounteredm cyclists here,which is a shame because it is a really beautiful and interesting route . :)
