01.02.2016The "JUNA" Earth Museum and Mineralogical Museum in Szklarska Poreba have a rich genealogical collection. The collection of minerals, gemstones and precious stones was presented to theted in an interesting way and described in detail. One of the museum's sections are fossils and dinosaur skeletons. Currently, a permanent exhibition of ornamental and precious stones from the Sudetenland and the world, as well as handicraft products made of glass, ceramics, wood, stones and silver, is presented in the Hunger Inn facility. The collection includes numerous mineral specimens from Lower Silesia, Poland and the world. You can see, among others, several-kilogram brushes of quartz from the Jizera Mountains, some of the largest excavated agates from the New Church (Lower Silesia), smoky quartz crystals from the Kowarska Pass, lumps of striped flint from the Swietokrzyskie Mountains as well as kilogram nuggets of choroite from the Urals, malachite stalactites from Kenya or several-kilogram amethyst geodes from Brazil. It also sells raw minerals - collectibles, as well as ornamental stone and silver accessories and jewelry.
