A unique place where you can see stained glass artists at work in a century-old studio. Really worth it!

01.09.2014<p>In the Stained Glass Museum, the exhibition spaces are intertwined with the stained glass workshop located here since 1902.</p> <p>During the tour, you can observe the unchangedThe process of making stained glass has been going on for hundreds of years.<br />The structure of the tenement, which now houses the Museum, and which was built specifically for the first stained glass workshop in Poland, has also remained unchanged, and each room has its own function in the production process. The interiors of the building and the equipment of the studio, through which the “living Museum” trail leads, have retained their original character.</p> <p>In the exhibition spaces, both contemporary and historical stained-glass and stained-glass boxes are presented, including those by the most outstanding Polish artists of the early 20th century: Józf Mehoffer, Wojciech Jastrzębowski, Karol Frycz and Stefan Matejko (Jan's nephew), the studio's long-time Artistic Director.</p> <p>Visitors can also admire the stained-glass windows currently in progress, visible on glass easels in the studio's rooms, and if they are lucky, they can watch the stained-glass artistsóat work.</p> <p>Note: The Stained Glass Museum can be visited only with a Museum guide.
