Beautiful views, worth toiling for them
Pauline . - 17.08.2023Nice view but didn't impress me like it did from the Rozewie Lighthouse.
08.07.2013You have to struggle to go all the way to the top but the views!!! Fantastic, just the wind blowing in your hair.
24.05.2012The origins of the lighthouse date back to the early 18th century. The current building, erected on a 1770 fort at the entrance to the port and at the same time at the mouth of the Parsęta River to the Baltic Sea, dates from the1947, has a height: 26 m, light range: 29.6 km, and is both a monument to the victory over Germany (plaque with the words: To the heroes fallen in the fight against the Nazi invaders for freedom and independence.... (until 1992: ...for freedom and independence of the Soviet Union and the Polish People's Republic)) and an architectural monument. After a major renovation in 1979-1981, it was opened to the public. The lighthouse is located between the Niechorze Lighthouse (about 34 km west) and the Gąski Lighthouse (about 22 km east).
