Museum of Polish Arms

The Museum of Polish Arms in Kolobrzeg was established in May 1963. Initially, the basis of the exhibition was archaeological finds, dating back to the early Middle Ages. The process of discovering these excavations was led by Professor Lech Leciejewicz. The second pillar of the collection was relics unearthed by Jan Frankowski from under the rubble of the pre-war Kolobrzeg museum. Currently, the Museum of Polish Arms has a military profile, and the permanent exhibition "History of the Polish Arms" mainly contains a collection of weapons, dating from various periods - from the Middle Ages to the present day. The exhibition is complemented by an extensive collection of uniforms of Polish soldiers, from both the First and Second World Wars. A real treat for history buffs is the "Enigma" cipher machine stored in the Museum of Polish Arms in Kolobrzeg. The most famous device of its kind was designed and constructed by a German engineer, Artur Scherbius. The information encrypted by "Enigma" was first read by Poles. The event took place in 1932. The museum will also appeal to fans of automobiles. One part of the exhibition is occupied by the iconic "Falcon 600." The motorcycle was produced in Warsaw from 1935 to 1939.

I confirm, I've been here 3 times, spent hours inside, and still haven't had time to read and see everything. Maybe because the first time I had maybe 10 years ;) The outdoor exhibits are my favorite part of the museum.
