A bourgeois tenement house from the 15th century The only reminder of the rich Hanseatic times is the late Gothic bourgeois tenement house built in the 15th century, it belonged to the Sch family.liefen family. Thanks to repeated restoration work, the townhouse survived almost unchanged until World War II. It was destroyed during the war and was reconstructed in 1957-1963. The tenement was the home of a Hanseatic merchant. On the first floor there was a large hallway and a business room. The first floor housed living quarters. The tenement also has a spacious basement, where the merchant family stored groceries. The upper floors had a similar purpose. Currently the site of the museum's temporary exhibitions.
