The limestone slope of Albrechtówka offers a captivating panorama of the summer village of Meczmierz, the Malopolska Gorge of the Vistula River and the Radom Plain. The village of Meczmierz - an old przhe rafting village lies in a dry valley. It can be called a "living open-air museum", as many centuries-old peasant cottages were moved here from other places where they were in danger of annihilation. And this happened because of the new owners of the property - artists, intelligentsia mainly from Warsaw and Lublin, to whom the old houses now serve as summer homes and a place of peculiar asylum. A similar function is performed today by the windmill-kosher, standing on a steep escarpment and transferred from the vicinity of Bałtów. The easiest way to Meczmierz is along the embankment up the Vistula River. Pass the quarries, walk until the first buildings appear - this will be the village of Meczmierz. The walk (one way) takes about 45 minutes from the Market Square.
