Being in the market square in Kazimierz, it is impossible not to pay attention to this tenement, although the one under St. Nicholas and St. Christopher makes a bigger impression on tourists. On the side wall of thehe banner bears the likeness of a rooster, which is the symbol of the products of the Kazimir bakeries. Roosters visually resemble croissants and taste similarly. 08.07.2013The Gdańska Tenement House on the Kazimierski Market Square was built in 1795 in the Baroque style. Rebuilt after World War II, it is one of the most interesting townhouses in Kazimierz. Its nhe name is reminiscent of the times when Kazimierz was called "little Gdansk" and the two cities were connected by lively trade contacts.
