Orruński Park is located in the southern part of the city, in Orunia, at 2 Nowiny St. It lies in a valley stretching from Łostowice to the Radunia Canal, which borders the park from theeast. The Orruński Stream flows through the valley, forming a cascade in the park. It flows into the Radunia Canal at the edge of the park. The valley was protected in 1999 in order to preserve its character, i.e. the steep slopes and vegetation. There are two ponds in the park: the upper (larger) fed by the waters of the Oruński Stream and the lower (smaller). They are connected by a stream. The valley of the Oruński Stream, in which the park lies, is distinguished by its plant cover in comparison with neighboring areas. There are rare plants here, such as branch arachnid, and strictly protected: spotted image, broad-leaved bellflower and common hellebore, which are remnants of forests. Of the more common plants, you can find here, among other spring species: wood anemone and yellow anemone, yellow and meadow goldenrod and liverwort. In addition, there are numerous species of fungi in the park.
