When I was there, there was no tea house. I got the impression of a slight kitsch, but.... maybe it was just me that seemed so. The panorama of the Giant Mountains is noble.
22.05.2015In 1802 the Count's wife Friedrich, née von Riedel zu Eisenbach, came to Bukowiec. For her, the temple of Athena, popularly known as the Tea House, was built. In this mhe place housed the countess' library. At one time, people used to gather at this place, hold conversations over aromatic tea while admiring the picturesque panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains. The place is currently being renovated and is regaining its former glory. On Sundays and holidays the tea room is open here. You can feel the atmosphere of ancient times sipping tea on the hill.
