  • Brajniki can be a great base for tourist excursions - there are many interesting places in the area, which we warmly encourage you to visit. Jezioro Brajnickie is elongated from north to south, narrower in the northern part than in the southern. The banks are hilly or flat, farther from the water table high and steep. Along all the banks run highways or dirt roads. The southern part of the eastern bank is surrounded by forest, on the northern part lie fields, wet meadows and buildings. At the northern end is the village of Witowo, on the western shore is Brajniki, and close to the southern shore is Warchaly. Brajniki Lake is a shallow and very large breeding lake. It has been stocked with carp, but other species have also benefited. For years it was a pond without access for anglers, but now they are allowed in. The plant's policy is very variable, sometimes fishing is not allowed at all, sometimes carp hunting is not allowed, and sometimes fishing is allowed for everything. Therefore, one should ask the owners before fishing. However, the fishing grounds are often overfished and there are no big fish in the lake. There are resorts around the lake where you can, among other things, stay overnight and rent fishing equipment. However, this is about fishing equipment, not recreational equipment. It is possible to swim, but the lake is not suitable for this. Not very good descents into the water. However, some people spend time here, as it is the quietest lake among the surrounding areas. Despite the fact that there are more resorts here, Lake Swietajno is more suitable for swimming.
