At the southern of Dugi otok (Long Island) is the Telascica Nature Park. It's about 10 km long and up to 2 miles wide, bordering the Kornati National Park. It's famous fo r its fascinating landscape characterized by high, steep cliffs and typical Mediterranean vegetation. Typical of the nature park are its rocky grass pastures, heaven for wild donkeys and rare sea creatures such as red corals and sponges. Definitely one of the nicest and most protected natural harbors in the Adriatic.
