Augustow - Lake Sajno - Augustow Canal

We start in the park in the central area of Augustow, taking Wojska Polskiego street leading to Warsaw, until we reach the entrance traffic circle. At the traffic circle, we turn left and then go straight until we reach Lake Sajna, right next to which the highway runs. Behind the camping field in 300 meters there is an exit into the forest to the right. At the fork of the road we turn right and keep going straight all the time keeping to the main road. After leaving the forest we turn right and after passing the board with the name of the village Białobrzegi after about 100 meters we turn right going down a small hill. Then we drive along the Augustow Canal. In one short section riding along the canal itself is not possible, but at a distance of 5 meters ...In from the canal there is an asphalt road. Unfortunately, our way is blocked by a bridge which we have to climb up the stairs with our bicycle in order to get on it again after crossing the street. Then we reach the "ring road" of Augustow, where our journey along the Augustow canal ends and we have to venture into the center of the city to get back to the starting point.

  Beautiful views of Lake Sajno, especially from the marked vantage point. An interesting, non-tiring route.

  nice route part through the forest we modified it a bit to get to Cactus
