Belarusian part of the Belovezhskaya Pushcha

Belarusian part of the Belovezhskaya Pushcha

A very pleasant route, paved roads all the way (the first 9 km are public roads with negligible traffic, the rest are National Park roads with resident and service cars). The forests seem less wild, more developed. Notes on paperwork: 1. very carefully fill out the application for a pass - it must be consistent with your passport as to the letter (in particular, both names if any are entered in the passport) 2. you can reach the crossing by car, but you must leave it on the road in the forest in front of the check-in point - the parking lot there is not available to tourists; 3. on the Belarusian side, there is no tourist infrastructure of any kind except for the Park information point (where ...tickets must be purchased). There is no ATM, store, currency exchange point, etc. 4. There is very little car traffic, even on public roads.

Easy route. A lot of tourists on bicycles from Poland. At the border, in Kamienieki and in the open-air museum you can pay by card. And also there you can dig up something to drink and eat. I do not recommendInstead, follow the signposts entitled The Animal zoo.(somehow). It is a nature trail through the woods, not too difficult admittedly (about 10 km extra), but without much excitement.Cool are: the views around the lake, aviaries and bridges on the royal road. It is good to know a little Russian.
