Ząb is a village with a three-hundred-year history, whose inhabitants have remained faithful to the agricultural and pastoral traditions of their ancestors to this day. In addition to its agricultural character and history, it has notable tourist advantages: beautiful views of the entire Tatra panorama, the Babia Góra range and the Gorce Mountains, as well as ski lifts. Ząb, next to Bukowina and Gliczarow Górny, is the highest situated village in Poland: its land lies at an altitude of 910-1013 meters above sea level.
In addition to the traditional wooden buildings of the village, St. Anne's Church is worth mentioning. The temple was built according to a plan by Andrzej Graca of Bustryk, executed by carpenter Jan Ustupski of Zakopane. Prominent Podhale sculptor Wojciech Brzezga was responsible for the sculptures, including the historic altar, while the interior design is the work of Zakopane sculptor Jan Tylka. Adjoining the church is a traditional Podhale cemetery planted with limbas. Through the village runs the Pope's Route, which is intended to commemorate the passage of the Holy Father John Paul II from Krzeptówki to Ludźmierz. To commemorate this event, a papal turret was erected in the village with an occasional inscription: "Welcome Gazda of the World to the place from where you are closest to heaven."
In Zab, as in many Podhale villages, residents care and remember their past and culture. Since 1964 there has been a regional band called "Zbójnicek", which presents the culture of the region, folk authors, as well as customs and highland music. On the occasion of church events and important events for the region, the band presents its work.
Tooth in winter time is an ideal place for those who are taking their first steps on skis - four short, low-difficulty slopes are open to skiers from morning to evening.
Tourists coming to Ząb appreciate the tranquility, beautiful views and the hospitality and openness of the locals. Thanks to its out-of-the-way location and simultaneous proximity to Zakopane, Ząb is an ideal place for those who need a break away from the hustle and bustle with easy access to major attractions.
