The Śnieżnik Massif and the Bialskie Mountains - accommodation

  • About the region

The great diversity of landscape and ideal tourist development with a large accommodation base are the main assets of the Śnieżnik Massif and the Bialskie Mountains. The plant and animal world of these regions is the richest in the entire Sudetes. There are Sudetic, Carpathian, Alpine and even Mediterranean species, including rare and protected ones. For this reason, the Śnieżnik Massif, together with the Bialskie Mountains, was included in the Śnieżnik Landscape Park in 1981.

A stay in this part of Poland will be an attraction not only for lovers of horseback riding, rock climbing, fishing or skiing, but also for cycling and mountain hiking enthusiasts. The biggest attraction of the Śnieżnik Massif is Śnieżnik (1,425 meters above sea level), the Bear Cave in Kletno, the Wilczka Waterfall in Międzygórze, as well as the bathing area in Stara Morava. The Bialskie Mountains with the highest peak Postawna (1125 meters above sea level), built of Precambrian gneiss, micaceous shale, quartzite and flite, are the most attractive part of the Sudetenland geologically.
