Korbielów - accommodation

A village in the Silesian province, in the Beskid Zywiec, located on the Glinna River. It is a niche, quiet village, near the Pilsko Mountain (1557 meters above sea level) not far from the border with Slovakia. Korbielow is home to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Korbielow. Here we can see a Wallachian settlement from the 15th century, a wooden chapel from the 19th century and other historic wooden houses. Here you will find one of the largest ski resorts in Poland and a large network of numerous hiking trails. If you're thinking of relaxing in idyllic surroundings, you can't miss it here!

1. Explore scenic hiking trails
   During the summer or autumn months, it is worthwhile to go exploring the Korbielow area. You can take advantage of its numerous hiking trails running along the tops of the mountains, including through the Pilsko, Rysianka and Romanka nature reserves. Traversing the Rysianka area will be extremely relaxing - the hills of this mountain are almost entirely forested. The rolling green slopes and Hale definitely encourage walking. Rysianka rises above three valleys of streams - Zabniczanka, Bystra and Sopotnia. Romanka, meanwhile, is the highest peak in the Lipowski Wierch Group in Beskid Zywiecki. Due to the dense forest cover of the mountain, wild boars, wolves, deer, lynxes and even brown bears can be found here. It's worth trekking these picturesque trails of the nature reserve, which was established in the area of the peaks towering over Korbiel.
    
2. Experience a dose of skiing madness
   Korbielów has the recognizable and extremely attractive Pilsko Ski Center. The region is known for its excellent ski conditions, which allow skiing from November to March. However, in addition to skiing, adrenaline rush in Korbielów will also be provided by snowmobiling, snowtubing and other winter activities. The Pilsko Ski Center is, after Kasprowy Wierch, the highest resort in Poland. Here you'll find two chairlifts and more than a dozen T-bar lifts, including one for children and beginners. ON Pilsko offers many ski trails of varying difficulty, the routes are groomed, and in the lower part additional snowmaking and illuminated. There are ski schools and equipment rentals, and if you feel like testing your skills, you can take part in competitions in Alpine Skiing, Skicross, Carving or Freestyling.
    
3. Visit the largest waterfall in the Beskydy Mountains
   In Sopotnia, not far from Korbielów you will see the waterfall on the Sopotnia stream. The steep banks of the stream are overgrown with natural oak-hornbeam. On the stream Sopotnia Wielka there are numerous rocky thresholds, on which small waterfalls are formed, the highest of which is Sopotnia Waterfall. The waterfall is distinguished by unusually strong waters, which carved a deep cauldron at its foot.
