Borek is a district of wooden houses, which was established in the late 1920s and early 1930s on land taken from the forest, hence the name. The area was adopted by peasants from Rudka, as a rekoIn a short period of time more than 70 wooden houses were built in Borkl, similar to each other and maintained in the same style, typical of their period.To this day, most of these houses have survived, but concrete has entered the empty squares after the war, in some places quite effectively spoiling the pre-war charm.But there is an exception: the street SWąska, where there are no new buildings, which makes it look like an enclave of the twentieth war years.Borek is an ideal place for seekers of past times, climates and moods.
