It's worth the trip to the top of Babia Gora. Beautiful views. And by the way, it's worth visiting the Babia Góra Plant Garden in Zawoja.
25.05.2012It includes the area of the Babia Góra National Park, which occupies the northern and southern sides of the Babia Góra massif, together with the highest peak of the High Beskid Diablak (1725m.a.s.l.). The vegetation has a system of natural climatic floors. There are about 700 species of vascular plants, almost 200 mosses, 250 lichens, more than 100 liverworts and 1100 species of fungi. The ridge of the Babia Góra massif is crossed by the European watershed, separating the catchment areas of the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea. The biggest tourist attraction of the Park is the peak of Babia Gora - Diablak. It rises several hundred meters above the neighboring peaks and is an excellent vantage point overlooking the area from Krakow to the Low Tatras, with panoramic views of the Polish Tatra Mountains.
