The chapel of St. St. John the Baptist chapel in Zawoja Policzne is also called "brigand's chapel". The name comes from legends, according to which the founders of the chapel were bandits whoThey erected it as a propitiatory votive offering for their sins. It was probably erected at the end of the 17th century. It was built of fieldstone, plastered and covered with a shingle roof with an onion-shaped dome. Its atmosphere is also created by the surroundings of old linden trees ? monuments of nature.
