31.12.2013The museum collects authentic objects from the field of Polish literature,art and related fields, history, ethnography, and period objects to furnish dwork roomsu. Among the most valuable collections of the Museum are manuscripts of Maria Konopnicka's works from the past. Dramatic Fragments (1879), With a Burglary (1892), as well as letters from the poet and other Polish writers, including: Eliza Orzeszkowa, Józef Ignacy Kraszewski, Stanisław Przybyszewski, Stefan and Octavia Żeromski. A unique collection includes tribute addresses and gifts Konopnicka received in 1902 on the occasion of her quarter-century jubilee of literary work from various societies, institutions and private individuals. The museum also has documents relating to the poet's daughters and collections related to the history of families living in the manor before Konopnicka.The collection is supplemented by a large collection of Konopnicka's original works, magazines from the 19th and early 20th centuries and contemporary studies - on the poet's life, work and activities.
