The Tatra Biosphere Reserve encompasses the area of the Polish and Slovak Tatra National Park, where alpine-type mountains are located. Marmots, among others, are found here,chamois, bears, lynx, wolves, otters, badgers, eagles, buzzards, owls, black grouse. Tourists can go inside caves, such as the Frost Cave on the slope of the Koscieliska Valley.
