currently undergoing renovation there - the upside is cheaper tickets, but the downside is less sightseeing....

11.05.2011Revelation. I'm not fond of botanical gardens, I always associate them with spirituality, glass. I really like this garden in particular. I avoided it for 4 years on Dr.odze to the university, and when I finally got there, I moved as if to another place. Despite the location you can not hear cars, there is peace and quiet, on a sunny day it is the perfect place to relax, rest, it is cozy. Apart from the botanical value, of course:)
Aneta - 14.09.2009Called an "oasis of beauty and tranquility," the Botanical Garden of Wrocław University in Wrocław is one of the city's biggest attractions. Botanical Garden in WroclawIt has a long and rich history, as it was established simultaneously with the University in 1811 and initially occupied an area of about 5 hectares. Then it was successively enlarged and supplemented with constantly new flora specimens. Unfortunately, during World War II it was completely destroyed. It began to return to splendor in the 1950s and to this day enchants at any time of the year with a feast of colors of thousands of plants. Botanical Garden in Wroclaw since 1974 entered in the register of monuments of the Wroclaw province, and in 1994 was declared a monument of history.
