The Avenue of Sports Stars was created to commemorate the opening of the Adam Malysz ski jump in Malinka. The avenue is formed by commemorative plaques made of bronze, embedded on the mainThe avenue is located on the promenade by the Wisła market square (Pl. Hoffa). The inauguration of the Avenue of Sports Stars took place in September 2008, when two plaques were erected - the first starting one, commemorating, among other things, the opening of the ski jump in Malinka, and the second with the name of Adam Małysz, the greatest sportsman in the history of Wisła, one of the most outstanding athletes in the history of Poland. In the following years, plaques were erected with the names of Janusz Rokicki - Paralympic vice-champion from Athens 2004, Apoloniusz Tajner - coach of Polish ski jumpers, under whose leadership Adam Małysz achieved his greatest successes, Jan Szturc - Adam Małysz's first club coach, and Jan Kawulok - Wisła's Olympian. Subsequent plaques, which will be embedded in the Avenue of Sports Stars, will be dedicated to outstanding athletes whose life paths were intertwined with Wisla.
