On the initiative of the Warsaw printing community, with the cooperation of the Historical Museum of the City of Warsaw, the concept of creating a Museum of Printing was created in 1975.The Museum is housed in a classicist tenement house built around 1830, located at the corner of Lucka and Iron Streets - the oldest part of the buildings on this part of the parcel. the classicist tenement house, built around 1830, houses 20,000 musealia, which are the Museum's stock. The vast majority of them are all kinds of prints: books, magazines, graphics, cartography, archives and accidens, posters, art bindings.
