The Warsaw Uprising Museum, opened during the 60th anniversary of its outbreak, is a tribute by the residents of the capital to those who fought and died for a free Polsk. The exhibition opened to the general public on October 2, 2004. Covering an area of about 1,800 square meters, the Warsaw Uprising Museum features an exhibition with numerous information, photographs, texts and films. It presents the history of the Warsaw Uprising in the broadest possible way - showing the entire complexity of the events from the occupation through the international situation and the establishment of an illegal communist power center in Lublin to the fate of the insurgents in the People's Republic of Poland. The museum uses a variety of audiovisual and multimedia communication techniques. A special place in the exhibition is occupied by insurgent armbands - all of which are displayed in a special display case along with the name of the insurgent.

28.09.2011I imagined them completely differently, what I saw inside surprised me very positively. A modern multimedia design. I chose Sunday for the tour becauseEntry was free. However, it's probably worth paying a few zlotys, because on a free day, crowds roll through the museum. Long queues then form, for example, to enter the viewpoint.
