Fishermen's cottages and townhouses in Ustka - old buildings located along narrow streets leading to the old part of Ustka. Ustka was originally a stronghold to whichThe ego was led by a road connecting it with other strongholds. Along the road from the 11th century, the first Kashubian fisherman's huts were built, as well as typical agricultural buildings, still visible today in the courtyards of townhouses. In their place, over the centuries, brick bourgeois houses were built and then they were rebuilt into townhouses. Their reconstruction lasted from the late 19th century until the 1930s. The tenements were built of half-timbering. The half-timbered tenements, preserved to this day, constitute the historic architecture of Ustka. The main street of old Ustka was Marynarki Polskiej Street, stretching according to the curves forced by the floodplains of the Slupia River. From the eastern side, the borders of the old settlement were delineated by Kosynierów street and on the western side of the port there were then only warehouses and a few farms.
