  • The Wladyslaw Dziewulski Planetarium in Torun - a planetarium in Torun that has been operating since 1994. It presents astronomical knowledge screenings. Planetarium in Torun was opened on February 17, 1994, with the first astronomical show held there on February 19 of the same year. Over the next few years there were changes in the presentation of the screenings. In May 1995, the slides presented by the projector in the planetarium were combined into panoramas. In November 1997, an "all-sky" system was set up, which allowed the entire dome to be covered with slide images. Since June 26, 2005, the planetarium also operates an interactive exhibition - Orbitarium. The planetarium's main projector: RFP was manufactured by the German company Zeiss. Forming an artificial sky, the planetarium's dome is 15 meters in diameter, making it one of the three largest in Poland.[1] There are 196 seats in the projection room under the dome. In 2007, the Torun planetarium was visited by 177,000 viewers.
