Nicolaus Copernicus - life and work The exhibition, opened in 1995, presents the world, the home and family environment, the years of education, and finally the years of creative solitude in Frombork (p(interrupted only occasionally by important chapter functions and public appearances) of the great Astronomer - and at the same time a modest canon of the Warmian cathedral chapter. It consists of 6 parts, each of which forms a separate entity contained in the individual interiors of a two-bay tenement house. Other sections of the museum include a model of medieval Toruń, bourgeois culture in Toruń, the Rapperswil Exhibition, and the scholar's studio.
