Built around 1400 and parochial since 1415, it was previously a branch of the church in Silesian Repty. In the 16th century it was taken over by Protestants, and during the Thirty Years' War zw.rócrated to Catholics. Originally a Gothic building, it acquired Baroque features through reconstructions in 1707 and 1728. It underwent restoration work between 1912 and 1914. Inside the temple there are beautiful stucco decorations with Baroque polychromy from the first half of the 18th century. They depict scenes from the lives of saints including Martin, John Nepomucen, Wenceslas, etc. In the temple there is, painted on a board, one of the oldest copies of the image of Our Lady of Piekara from the second half of the 17th century.
