A varied tourist route in the silver mine, part of which goes by boat. This confused me a bit and I had the impression for some time that I had already been to the Black Trout Adit. By force of nature, I have to return to these parts and visit the Adit. All in all, I wonder how the night tour differs from the one during the day, since you go underground anyway....
24.03.2010The only underground tourist route in Poland providing access to underground tours of former silver-bearing ore mines! A fragment of the labyrinth of mining excavations, whichry can be visited since September 5, 1976. At a depth of 40 m there is a tourist route with a length of 1,700 m. Its shape resembles a triangle, the tops of which are 3 shafts: "Angel", "Viper" and "God's Luck". Adjacent to it are 3 chambers having 500 to 2,000 m2. Part of the trail (a 270-meter section) is traversed by boat. Since recently, the Historic Mine can also be visited by the disabled. Before going underground, visitors can see an original exhibition of minerals, mining tools and equipment, and after leaving, the Steam Engine Open-Air Museum. The historic Black Trout Mine and Adit was added to the nationwide List of Historical Monuments on April 18. The National Center for Research and Documentation of Monuments in its publication "Monuments of History" invites you for an unusual journey through the most beautiful corners of Poland, including the Tarnogórska Mine.
