Feedback

  • The permanent exhibition features some 300 exhibits, from the simplest - leaves or bark for playing, whistles made of straw or feathers that any child can make - to theinstruments with a high degree of complexity, requiring knowledge and experience from both the builder , and the player - harmoniums, violins or bagpipes. Some of the presented instruments are closely related to certain regions of Poland, e.g. Podhale bagpipes, złóbcoki are found only in the musical culture of Podhale, mazanki in Greater Poland, and devil's fiddle and burczybas in Kashubia. Even among Instruments included in the same group, there is regional variation.
