  • The church was erected on the initiative of the Jesuits in 1688-1693 according to the design of an unknown architect, and the facade was completed in 1730. The church has the form of a three-naveThe church is a two-bay basilica with a two-bay chancel, a four-bay nave body and galleries over the side aisles. The church is surrounded by a quadrilateral indulgent cloister, with corner chapels. On the facade of the church, the front chapels and the front arm of the cloister are set up sculptures chiseled by sculptor Christopher Perwanger. The interior of the church is richly decorated, including paintings on the vault from 1722-1727 by Matthias Jan Meyer. In the main altar the place of honor is occupied by the image of the Mother of God, painted in 1640 by Bart łomiej Pens. The image is covered with a silver cloth made (1720) by Samuel Grew, a goldsmith from Königsberg.
