    Very good Stay: July 2009

It's worth seeing, because it's a showcase of this region of Poland, although after the renovation of the railings (they were destroyed by jumpers) they lost some of their charm. Being from the areaI recommend going to one of several taverns for KARTACZE- potato specialty of the region.Finger lickin :-)

Please do not write nonsense and look at the free wikipedia - you will learn why double "viaducts" were built. Such fairy tales about the so-called Doppelbrücke would amuse even a childAnd at school age. Reasoning by this style should build 5 or even 10 parallel bridges, because the enemy does not sleep. The data of Bledzian bridges are - hatch span 15 m, not 30 ! Height 36.5 m, length 180 m. With best regards

  • The biggest attraction of the region are the nearly 40-meter high and 200-meter long railroad viaducts of the defunct Goldap - Zytkiejmy railroad line (31km), which krThey hold many secrets. The bridges in Stańczyki are the highest on the line and among the highest in Poland. Their design was probably made by Italian architects in 1905. The northern bridge was made in 1912-14 and the southern bridge in 1923-26, and ferro-concrete was used for construction. The architecture is characterized by perfect proportions, and the pillars are decorated with elements modeled after the Roman aqueducts at Pont du Gard, hence their name - the Aqueducts of the Romincka Forest. Nowadays the viaducts are a favorite place for amateurs of jumping rope (bungy and shuttle jumps), although they are actually forbidden due to the poor condition of the structures. On the river bank, under the bridges, a shelter was built - a place for camping and bonfires.
