The Water Recreation Center in Skołyszyn is a place, located adjacent to the Ropa River and the manor park in Skołyszyn. During the spring and autumn season it gathers people corzusing the charms offered by swimming in a canoe, pedal boat or kayak. The water reservoirs, which have been created on fire pits, annually become the site of very spectacular exercises of volunteer firefighting units. The vicinity of the courtyard park and the Ropa River is an additional attraction of this place. The park is the only remnant of the palace, which was burned down in January 1945 during hostilities. The 10-hectare complex contains rare tree species: burgundy oak, tulip tree, ginkgo tree, eastern cedar and chestnut tree. The trees date back to around 1868, when the Skołyszyn estate was purchased by Karol Klobassa. He enlarged the park complex and imported, among others, many exotic trees and shrubs from Italy and Spain. In 2012 a walking alley was built in the park, this is the first of the works to restore the splendor of the place.
