Super place, atmospheric. Perfect for walking, going out with friends for coffee or ice cream, especially on hot summer days when you can refresh yourself in the fountain :) You feel heremore the atmosphere of a seaside resort than a town in the center of Poland.

Named after Archbishop Jan Odrowaz of Sprowa, the founder of the city, the market square was shaped after 1457 and served as a market square for nearly 500 years. On the western side of the market square there areis a Neo-Renaissance town hall from 1846, built according to a design by H. Marconi. It currently houses the city office. A trace of the first wooden town hall from the 18th century remains in the central part of the market in the form of a fountain built in 2007 on its outline.
