Sandomierz's oldest church, and a gem among monuments, is the 13th-century Dominican monastery complex with the Church of St. James. The Romanesque flair of this temple willblhe present atmosphere of medieval simplicity and austerity, not only of the construction of the time, but above all of the way of existence of ancient societies. In the Dominican gardens - located on the loess slope of the church grounds - a vine plantation ripens in the summer in the sun, modeled on the original one, which was already in this place in the Middle Ages.
