If you everlf I actually get fed up with my work, I will go there to relax. I should also add that this is where the scenes for the movie "Black Clouds" were filmed, and this is my connoisseur from my young years. Hidden in the deep Rytwiańska forests, somewhere beyond theCivilization awaits you an extraordinary place. The Hermitage of the Golden Forest. A seventeenth-century post-Medullen monastery complex, the only one in Poland, open and preserved in its original form. The monastery is located in the middle of the forest, 2 km from the village of Rytwiany. Situated far from traffic routes, it seems cut off from the world. Forgotten, yet not abandoned. One can still sense here the quiet, silent presence of the Camaldolese monks who inhabited the place for almost 200 years. Particularly noteworthy is the Baroque church with preserved post-Medullen furnishings (including stalls in the monastery choir, lavaterz). The decoration of the temple is an extraordinary wealth of Baroque art: polychromes and paintings by Father Venante of Subiaco, stuccowork by John Baptist Falconi, painting by Charles de Pervot. An unusual peculiarity is the wax death mask of Anna Dziulanka. In the crypts under the church lie the ashes of the monks and the founders: the Opalinski and Radziwill families, among others. The monastery, abandoned by monks in the 19th century, is currently being rebuilt and is open to the public. Today, the SPeS Relaxation and Contemplative Therapeutic Center operates on the monastery grounds. A center offering innovative quality recreation. Based on Camaldolese spirituality, the basis of which is silence, prayer, solitude; in reference to the monastic tradition, SPeS (Salus Per Silentium - health through silence) was created - a therapy that includes care for the whole person. Combining spiritual renewal with physical renewal. For people threatened by the pernicious effects of civilization, i.e.: workaholism, siecioholizm, shopaholism, etc. Away from the world, one can convince oneself that the troubles and worries of everyday life are not something big and unsolvable. By cutting yourself off from them and living deep in the forest, you can leave all the mischief of this world far behind you. Let time flow by for a while.
