<p>The Radom Village Museum aims to preserve for future generations the cultural heritage of the ancient people living in Radom. The open-air museum covers an area of 32.5 hectares, na whichós compiled 80 objectsóof old rural construction (cottages, manors, churchesó³, forges, windmills, water mills). The museum also has over 16,000 movable exhibits, among which the following deserve special attention: a collection of vehicles, agricultural machinery, beehives and beekeeping tools, textiles and folk art. The museum organizes numerous exhibitions and conducts museum workshops aimed at disseminating knowledge about the culture of the Radom region. Permanently inscribed in the schedule of museum events are outdoor festivals, enjoying great success, aimed at promoting folklore and folk art. Among them are: Feast of Our Lady of Thunder, Palm Sunday , Corpus Christi, Bread Festival , Potato Festival. A branch of the Radom Village Museum is the Oskar Kolberg Museum in Przysucha, presenting the life and work of the outstanding ethnographer.
