AnaKT - 25.06.2020Domaniow is primarily a 500-hectare lagoon on the Radomka River (7 km long, l.2 km wide, 8.9 m at its deepest point). There are several parking lots, a volleyball courtbeach boat, a marina where you can rent a motorboat. The lagoon has a dam over half a kilometer long. Right next to it is a center where you can rent rooms Gospodarstwo Pomocnicze Wojewódzkiego Zarządu Melioracji i Urządzeń Wodnych in Warsaw, a branch in Radom. The reservoir is located in the municipalities of Przytyk, Wieniawa and Wolanów, about 20 km west of Radom. It can be reached by road No. 44, turning north in Wieniawa (10 km), or by road No. 740, turning south in Przytyk (8 km). The towns around the lake have a permanent bus connection with Radom. The length of the shoreline is about 21 km, with an average depth of about 2.3 meters, reaching 5 meters in the dam area. There is an island on the lake, where there are bird nesting sites and therefore it is prohibited to land on it.
