The defensive walls in Pyrzyce began to be built as early as the 13th century. They were expanded over many centuries, and after World War II, part of the walls were rebuilt. The towers have been preserved to this day: Pijacka, Sleeping Beauty, Powder Tower, Ice Tower, the ruins of Mnisha Tower. Owl Gate. The Banska Gate and a fragment of the Szczecin Gate have also survived.
