I didn't see the museum's collection because it's only open until 4pm, and I've been to several other places along the way, so I ended up in Pieskowa Skała in the late afternoon. It's a bit of a shameI'm going, but maybe someday I'll come back. I will return when the gastronomy is more developed, because for such a number of tourists at the weekend places where you can eat something are definitely too few. Autumn views, as Anulek says, fabulous :-)
.10.2012For me it is a special place, because in the restaurant of this castle my current husband asked me to marry him. I have been here many times - alone, with my husband and then with my children. It is worth choosingis in autumn, when the leaves take on colorful hues. Surrounded by rocks, the colors of autumn look fantastic.
.05.2012Pieskowa Skała similarly to Malbork delighted me. There is no overkill in the interior finishes here like at Wawel Castle and the defense solutions and history are interesting and I recommend it.
.08.2011Very nicely maintained charming castle . Beautiful views from the walls of the castle. Near the village of Pieskowa Skała is a lovely wooden church, which stands on a hill.Concrete supports over a stream right next to a limestone rock.
.06.2011Pieskowa Skala Castle is one of the top of a small group of monuments of the Polish Renaissance and is a major tourist attraction on the Eagles' Nests Trail. It is also the only one in the areaandcy preserved in its entirety Jurassic site. The museum here is a branch of the State Art Collections in Wawel.
