09.09.2014The 5 towers and several additions give the castle a very irregular shape. Three of the towers are round, one is half quadrilateral and above that octagonal - these stand in the corner of theach of the castle, the fifth square one is located in the front elevation. The surprisingly small courtyard is entered through a massive gate, protected on both sides by bastions. The courtyard is decorated with a three-story loggia. It features cannons and a 36-meter well, providing water during a siege. The interior of the castle is not very rich, there are Lubomirski's sarcophagus, a chapel with wall paintings and marble portals. In addition, you can see models of the largest castles in southern Poland and copies of paintings from the grand ballroom.
